Workin' Hard Is Hardly Workin' (This Week, At Least)
It's been a few months since I've started my new job. As I've mentioned on the /now page in the past, I've been working at a logistics warehouse, so I'm pretty much a cog in this country's supply chain. It's very physical, it's the direct opposite of easy, but it's essential and the pay isn't bad. However, I've hit a bit of a snag recently and could use a little help.

Why It's Okay to Not Wanna Be Bored
Now, I haven't been on an airplane since before 9/11, but I vividly remember what it's like to be insanely bored during a flight before the days of mobile devices. Laptops and Palm Pilots still existed, but I was poor and a teenager, so I didn't have either, and I definitely would have done anything for a portable computer in that situation. But now, we have tiny computers in our pockets, and we as a society have seemingly taken that privilege for granted, to the point where people actively brag about how they "raw dog" flights.
